Bike Tour Montjuic to the Forum

This route proposes passes by the sites of two of the most important events in Barcelona’s recent history, the 92 Olympics and the 2004 World forum. The tour demonstrates the importance and magnitude these two events have had on the city.
Beginning at the castle of Montjuic where one can enjoy a panoramic view of the “City & Sea” of Barcelona, we continue through the central point of the Olympic Games, where we can see the transformations carried at in order to host this colossal event and also that of the 1929 International Exhibition. We continue along the Maritime front, until arriving at the site of 2004 forum of the cultures, a mammoth project, constructed purely for this event.

Route:
We begin at the Castle of Montjuïc and in 3 and a half hours we ride 15 kilometers between slope and plain, taking us to the coast and to what used to be the Fòrum. Without considering the stops, the tour supposes around 2 hours of effective cycling. We use city bikes with open and closed frames – according to convenience – with 5 speed Gripshift system.

Includes: Bicycle rental, Helmets, Transportation of the bikes, Tour leaders & On-Road mechanics, all equipped with all necessary tools, Medicine kit, bottle of water and insurance.

PD: Although this itinerary has as begins at the Castle of Montjuïc, it is not included in the tour. If participants wish to enjoy the views from the fortress it is recommended to arrive in advance.
